I have an excel file and would like to manipulate the data and merge a couple of excel files. the only way i know how to do this is to copy all the data from the excel files into an array... manipulate it there and then store it back into an xls. i'm not familiar with accessing data in excel with vb so if it would be possible for somebody to point me to a thread or website that would be great.

thanks
