Anyone know how to copy my AOL address book from my desktop computer to a laptop?

Thanks.

if u have aol 6.0,7.0 or 8.0 don't bother...the address book is stored on the aol server.

if u have aol 5.0 or less copy the "organise" folder from c:\program files\america online folder to a floppy disc and transfer it to the same folder on u r laptop.

easier said than done!

Thanks. I had resolved the problem.....but your tip is exactly correct.

the same does not go with the fling cabinet and favourites.no matter which version of aol u have u need to take a back up of the organise folder to retrive the filing cabinet and u favourie places.with the exception of aol 8.0 where only the favouite places r stored on aol server. AOL Tech

technically speaking the files which are the address book are present in the organize folder.the name of the files are "yourscreen_name.aby","yourscreen_name.abx", and "yourscreen_name.abi" !!

information overload huh? AOL Tech
