Hi there, I created an Excel spreadsheet that has two tabs in it. One tab is linked to another tab. I want to copy and paste this data to a a new table in Access. When i do Paste Append, i get 0 values. I am guessing it's because i am copying the linked values. Is there a way to Paste Append data so that i get the right values (percentages). Should I set up my Excel spreadsheet differently? I have to link one tab to another (i can't copy and paste special in Excel, it has to be linked). Thank you All!

No, but i need to Paste Append these numbers from Excel every single week. Will that work with TransferSpreadsheet method? Thank you!

Try linking the spreadsheet to the database as a table, the fields update whenever the speadsheet is changed.

That's a good idea, however I have to add more data to the Database every week, so how do i do it without the deleting previous week data. I update the spreadsheet on a weekly basis.

1. Create a table containing the fields you need.
2. Link to the spreadsheet.
3. Build an INSERT query to move new data from the spreadsheet to the table.
4. If necessary, build an UPDATE query to change data in the table to match the spreadsheet.
5. You may even need a DELETE query to remove data from the table if it is no longer in the spreadsheet.
