copy and paste masks dosnt work/

hi
if i copy and paste a mask from one layer to another it seems to come in to the new layer in the wrong place so i end up
having to re postion the mask on all the frames, its the right shape but wrong place.
help if you can

Hi there, unfortunately, the mask shape is also dependant on the layer dimensions. So if you copy a mask from say a 400x300 pixel layer to another at say 600x400, your mask shape will be distorted. If both layers are the same dimension and in the same place on the page, they'll copy in register.

What are you trying to achieve, there are loads of ways of doing the same thing in this package, maybe I could help with another way of doing things.
