Ok, not strictly IP Office however I have a situation where I am going to install IP office in a location and a couple of phones will be more than 100 meteres away.

Therefore I will not be running cat 5 cables to the office but using fibre for data instead. I am thinking of using standard 2 pair copper from the ip office to the remote phones, does anybody now of any limitations to doing this?

I have installed phones on lines that exceeds more than 500 metres, on standard phone-cables (twisted pair)

I have never had any problems.

Standard 2 pair copper cable will not get you the sort of distance that Cat5 will. If possible make the remote phone analogue, I've found that you get a greater distance with analogue handsets and use Cat5.
