Running Win XP
Originaly I was set up as managed but everday this was scanning my PC.
I am a huge user with 6 monitors and many programs running so this scanning bogs me down.
I convinced IT to let me uninstall and reinstall as un managed and that I will do my own scanning and updates.
Uninstalled Norton via ADD/Remove
Re-installed as un-managed
Bloody hell this thing still random scans.
No schedules are set up and the only way to stop it is to shut it down but then thats no use for emails etc.
Wondering if it did not un install everything and still thinks its managed somehow? but even that I.T. cannot figure out why all our PC's get scanned randomly and they cannot figure out how to stop it and have it scheduled.
