Hi all,

I'm running Access 2000 on Windows 2000. I have this report which is just our in-house telephone directory. It has 2 columns, 3 items in the Sorting and Grouping, and some formatted items that get bolded or italicized based on a field value. I copied this report so I could use the same exact format and just link it to another query. When I try to run the report, it just blinks and doesn't do anything. I even kept the query that it was linked to the same as the original query until I can figure this out. Is there any way to look at some log or does anyone know why it won't run? Not sure if I gave enough info but thats all that I have. Thanks.

Are your Tables inside Access or are they linked to an external database?

Try to open the report in designmode and have a look, if the fields are correct (go to a field and look into properties and datasource and check if it is correct) ...

The data is coming from a different MDB file. Whats strange is that if I open up the original report in design mode and do a "save as" to a different report name, the report should still work. My intent is to change the data source to a different query but I didn't get that far yet. Thanks.
