For the BCM 400, Other than BCM Monitor, what else is there to use?

Look at the documentation, there is alot of info there. Get on Nortel's website and take a look also.

I have read documentation, but don't see anything "cool"... nothing really useful to me that i could get to work.. suggestions?

What do you need that is not shown on BCM monitor? What features are you looking for? What makes a program "cool"?

Well, I'm just really looking for any info at all. Information is power. I got call accounting & BCM Monitor up, but didn't know if there was anything else people use. :)

That is so totally the wrong attitude....hence why passwords should not be posted on this forum.

You would happen to be the guy in someone elses post that changed the password on the system and then left the company would you?

Uhh... no? I'm the guy who knows nothing about BCM's and am just trying to learn as much as possible... I took over the I.T. Job here at this company and they do not have the budget to hire a dedicated phone person, so the responsibility lies on me. I implemented the Shadow CMS and found the BCM Monitor to monitor realtime, but was just curious if there were other options to use. Sorry if it came off wierd.

If you are just learning the BCM then the documentation is extremely important. I would get the basics of the BCM down before I started trying to do extra things. In order to do extra things, you need the basics. Don't get the cart before the horse.

Some of the cool programs you want to see or explore may need a keycode. There is some neat stuff in the admin tab for monitoring various components of the system, D- channels on PRI's, backups etc.
