cookies will not work

I have used cookies lots of times without problems.

I now am developing another form in a different directory on an NT host and cookies will simply not set. No errors, just no results.

You guys know of any quirks using PHP and cookies?

A silly reply: Check the configurations of the browser, maybe the user turn off the cookies......

Checked. Its good.

Weird, the cookies work fron scripts on the root directory of the host. When I try dropping a cookie from a php script on a sub directory, it doesnt work.

I dont understand.

I had the same problem as you are dealing now.

I had to save the status of a page, you could change somethings in the layout without refreshing the page.

so, to set the cookie i had to use JS
SetCookie(element,'none',exp,'/','URL');
