REALLY sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I need help!

I'm leaving a job and want to get rid of any traces of my internet use (nothing dodgy, just hours of boredom leading to random searches I don't particularly want them to know about).

In Google whenever I start to type a search word, it throws up all sorts of suggestions for the start letter (e.g. when I type "a" a list pops up with amadillo and argos for example).

How can I sop this happening?

Any help very gratefully received.
