Cookies - Google Preferences

I have been trying to change my Google search prefs,unfortunatley when trying to do this I cannot save them as Google reports that my Cookies are disabled.

To my knowledge they are enabled, however, I went through the process of changing my IE6 settings (including putting everything back to default) many times + many configs trying to get this to work but to no avail.

I am browsing using a limited user account and have also tried changing the settings for the admin user account.

Anyone know if this is a problem with me or Google?

Sounds like you have a firewall controlling it. Check your firewall like zone alarm or norton or something of the like and make sure they arent disabling the cookies.

Thanks for your tip, it was the FW in ZoneAlarm doing the blockage. I assumed it was a problem at my end rather than Googles!
