I'm saving some user details in a cookie, but noticed
that if the user uses netscape it keeps the cookie
for netscape, and if uses IE it keeps the cookie for IE use only,
for each has different directory in which the cookies r saved.
I wonder, is there a way to force writing the 2 cookies, when using one
of these browsers?
I.e. Once the user uses IE, I'd like the cookie to be saved
in NETSCAPE as well; and if uses NS, to save a cookie in IE as well.
P.s - Where r the cookies saved for netscape anyway?

Thanks in advance

Netscape cookies are stored at:

c:\program files\netscape\users\(profile)\cookies.txt.

To the best of my knowledge you can only place a cookie at the location of the browser that opened the Web page, so if you want to place a Netscape cookie the user will have to be using the Netscape browser (same for IE).

If anyone else out there knows how to do this I would like to know also.

Thanks.
I will let know if I get another answer.
