Cookies AND VPN

Hello All.

Does anyone know how when using VPN an employee can log to our intranet??
The way our intranet is set-up, it allows logins every 24 hours abviously writting cookies to one's system. But not thru VPN.

Please help guys. thanks in advance. Tony
