Cookies and FSO not working

I have a site on a hosted server (IIS5) where I could create text files and set cookies, Everything was working fine until now.

The page in question is a login page which sets the username, access level etc. to cookies, to be used in other pages, and then creates or writes to a text file stating who logged in and when.
When I try to log in as a user with an account I get "Cannot Find Page".

If I rem out the lines which sets the cookies and the routine that creates the FSO, I can get in.

The site is on a server at a hosting service, does it need to be restarted or reset or something?

Sometimes all you need to do is reboot, may be a memory leak somewhere. Also make sure that they put it in a Virtual directory
