I use IE6 on 98pc, it is unable to access or logon some secure pages when using proxy connection, and every thing works fine when using dialup connection. The problem happened on IE5, there was a yellow marker on advanced/security/warn about invalid site certificates/cookie when using proxy connection. If I choose disable all cookies, I can access or logon secure pages with proxy connection, but failed on some pages like yahoo mail which requires cookie. But I do need use proxy connection. There is no yellow marker under IE6. Can't figure out why, please help. Thanks.
