Cookie creation in relation to Response.Cookies().Domain value...

When I assign a value to Response.Cookies("cookie_name").Domain the cookie doesnt appear in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Cookies or C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files, however when I dont assign a value to the Domain property the cookie DOES appear in these paths...

Does anybody have any idea why this is?
