cook announcer not working

I have a DA cook announcer that is not playing the wake up greetings. I was unable to hear anything when I hooked up my buttset to the AWR TN's. I am assuming I should have heard something so I tried another DA unit and still can not hear any recording (only one on channel 1) through the buttset on the TN or when we schedule the wake up calls. Any ideas of where to check next? I already swapped out my trunk cards and also tried different TN's

I didn't think that you could hear any announcements on AWR trunks, but can on music ones.

I had an issue with an announcer not working recently and tried to test it with mu buttset and couldnt hear anythnig. I was going to trace the cable to the announcer from mu trunk card and put my toner on it and tried to test it with my probe and heard the announcement through the speaker of my probe. Shocked me. Issue was the slot the trunk card was in but that may not be your issue.
