Converting 'yyyymmdd' to 'dd/mm/yyyy'

Very new to CR 8.5 as you can tell. Installed it 2 hours ago and already over whelmed by the functions. Any help with the above subject would be appreciated.

I am using Visual Foxpro 6. Where can I get past threads on VFP/CR integration.
