A friend of mine had installed Word 2000 on his computer and removed Works. Now with word he can not open his Work files. Have tried to load the conversion tools on a few computer snad get the same error, it can not load the works converter. Any third PArty Progams that can do this quick and simple?

Thanks

Best bet ... if your friend still has their Works software ... is to reinstall and save as .doc in Works. Works to Word is a reall pain otherwise. I had to scrounge up an install of Works recently to help someone out in a similar situation with Works database files. I dunno how many fiels you're talking about, but if it's a reasonably low number, I can open them and save in an acceptable format if you get in a bind. Let me know...

WEll there are a few hundred, I'll chck with him to see if he still has works loaded, or the disk
