converting word to pdf and keeping links

hi

i'm trying to convert a big word document to PDF, but the problem i have, is that its so big, i wish to keep the navigational links that are in place. is this possible? because every time i use distiller, it just seems to make the links into formatted text as opposed to anythink clickable. i've had a look around the settings, but cant find anything.

The only way to retain the links is to export directly to PDF i.e. not by printing to postscript then distilling. Make sure that the settings are how you want them in Distiller first (it will retain the last entered settings) and then use the Export button.
