Converting Word Perfect Text to Word

I have just purchased a new pc and after using Word Perfect for years have decided to copy the text to the floppy and I am having trouble re-loading it to convert to Word that has been pre-loaded in to the new computor .
Can any one help and give me the proceedure to convert from one the the other.

How about saving your WP as ascii and opening it that way. I believe that some word versions will make the conversion but I'm not sure which ones.
