I have 330+ Word 2000 files in 20 or so directories and subdirectories that I need to convert to Word 6.0/95 format. Must I open each file and save it as Word 6.0/95 or is there a shortcut global command I could use?

Hi,
You can use the Batch conversion Wizard that comes with Word 2000. Open Help and type "Batch Conversion Wizard" and click search. It allows you to convert something else to Word or from Word to something else, including other word versions.

It does require items to be in the same directory, but you could run this 20 times instead of opening 330 files.

Hope this helps.
