In a previous thread, I was advised by Lost500 to use the database tools tab to convert a backend Access 2007 database to SQL Server. Does this exist on Access 2002 or 2003?

I'm using Access 2003 and there is an Upsizing Wizard in Tools->Database Utilities.

Not necessarily. I was planning on making a copy of the db before trying it.
I haven't used the wizard in many years but expect it might require that you have access to a SQL server with the appropriate permissions.
