I've reading some of the posts here and also was told by the vendor that Intuity mode is more "future embracing". I wonder if anybody can share if there is any issue you've experienced ever since changed to Intuity from IP Office mode. Also have you noticed any existing configuration or modules got broken during the conversion? Thanks a lot!

IP Office mode = straight up and to the point voicemail.
Intunity = made for Americans who seem to like every option explained in great detail before you are told you don't have any messages.

Just dont do it. :)

So true though, even listening to the messages is like walking over a hard wood floor covered in Lego bricks....slow and painful :)

ouch! but what do you think about those features only available to intuity mode?

Never needed them since I have worked on the system, so much so I don't even know what they are beyond multiple greetings :)

Just don't do it, but if you do could you send over their contact details and I'll put it back to IP Office Mode ;)

I think the messages I'm getting here are very strong, thanks guys.

there are options within Intuity that people like...

1. a variety of greetings (internal, external, busy, no answer, default, temp/holiday etc.)
2. ability to do broadcast VM from with your mail box, and you can build the lists from within the mailbox. This can be "overcome" using the broadcast feature within HG/VM in the IPO, but it requires that you build broadcast HGs containing the members desired, for each list, for each user that wants to do this... basically putting the work on the IPO programmer rather than the individual user to build their own dist list for broadcasdt messages.

Most customers I have that stick with Intuity, do it for the above two reasons, more particularly item 1.

I am coming in late but I like Intuity because a lot of older systems use the same options and the users do not need to be retrained which can be challenging at times.
Once you are used to it you log in and hit 20 and listen to your messages within 2 seconds without listening to the lovely voice giving you options (not the "Welcome to Avaya IP Office" part in the new voice which is horrid.

Give a tech a solution and he will be back tomorrow to ask you the next question, teach a tech how to read the manual and he will be able to solve the problems for a life time.

If I remember correctly though, even the actual message is more protracted as she reads out time left, date left, length and caller id etc.... in the mean time you're screaming "Get on with it" :)

Cmon amriddle, not all Americans need to have all the bells and whistles just to say that we have em. I use IP Office Mode at all times. I'll change America's mindset yet! One IPO at a time.

I have dreamed a dream, but now that dream has gone from me.

HSM*** not amriddle :)

I agree with him though :)

That'll teach you to agree with HSM, you get it first :)

I almost got him sued once, so that's cool :)

I'm installing Intuity mode from now...I'll just let my customers know "This is how it's done in America. Everyone else in the world is just stuck in the old ways of doing things."

I have dreamed a dream, but now that dream has gone from me.

Ehhh ???? Intuity mode is made because of old habbits of Audix voicemail (old stuff)
So the rest of the world moved on to the next century instead of the US :)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Intuity mode is like the old Audix from the past century!
