Hi... I need to find a way to convert my reports to Crystal 8.5. Is there any way to do this? Any thoughts on how to copy the SQL statement to Crystal? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you. Karen.

You really can't "convert" from ReportSmith to Crystal. What you do is create new Crystal reports using the ReportSmith reports as the specs.

I don't have a copy of Crystal handy but I think you can do the SQL bit at least 2 ways. One way is in your Crystal report there is a SQL section. Another is there is a separate tool for creating sql queries. You could copy / paste into either.

I would not tell my customers this is a conversion. Too many people would then think it should take a lot less time then doing the reports from scratch. But that is really what you end up doing.
