Hi,

Have a major headache at hand, completed an Access2000 DBMS after a few months work and jus before my final presentation, my supervisor wants it to be Access97 capable.

Presentation is coming very soon n need some help....
Is there a way i can convert the Access2k to Access97 at the same time maintaining the relationships n functions FAST!! I've tried the covert database function but the output gives lots of errors when i try to run it... IS it possible w/o a need to rebuild it in Access97 again?

Thanks for any help rendered.

After you have downward created, check all of your DLL references to ensure they are at the correct level. Also recompile it. You may be using new functions (eg InStrRev) that Access97 does not support.

What kind of error messages are you getting? If you want to zip up a SMALL example of your database and email it to me I may have some time later today that I could take a look at it. Send it to SBendBuckeye2000@yahoo.com.

Good LucK!

My access database became corrupted and I sent the db to getit uncorrupted. But the result is the same as before, this message comes up when I try to open, "Unrecognized Database Format"

The difference is that before I couldn't see the records, now I can see the tables, queries, etc. but can't open it.
