Converting Time to minutes : 2:00:00 into 120 minutes?

I'm in Office 2000, and I have two times, say 3:00 & 1:00. I subtract the two and get 2:00:00. How can I convert that into minutes to say 120 minutes? Any help apprecitated

I used (2:00:00) * 24
and it worked!

(3:00-1:00)*24*60

sorry about the typo and the confusion
