I have been sent a flash file created elsewhere that needs to be converted to quicktime. I know I can open it in the quicktime player, but I'm unable to save it as a quicktime, which is what I need to dump it to video. I've also tried opening it in Flash to export it as a quicktime from there, but because it was created elsewhere, my default settings change the way it looks. Any help would be much appreciated. I am not very familiar with flash.

Thanks,

Bryan

Try this Mr. Smartypants, open the file in Quicktime and choose export. In the dropdown menu of export forms select 'movie to quicktime movie' and make sure its self contained.

You should be able to export from Flash as well. There are two ways, Publish and Export Movie. Try them both.
Which one did you use and in what way did it change the way the file looks?
