Hi all,
RE: Crystal Reports XI and BOXI
We have lots of reports which have a data source of an SQL Server Stored procedure.
We are moving into using Business Views to read the Stored procedure data - and then add filters to the data (like row level security) to allow certain users to have their datasets restricted.
So :
1. I created a new Business View (connection, elements etc...).
2. The data still comes from the Stored Procedure - which the Business View sits on.
3. I go into the report with Crystal, and tell it to 'Set Datasource Location' to the new view.
4. This results in :
Any ideas how I can get round this (other than completely rewriting the report!)???
Thanks!
Rob
