Converting Sniffer .cap-File to ASCII 2

I have got some .cap-files which have been created with the NAI sniffer version 4.5. What I urgently need is a tool to convert these files into ASCII or Excel. What I have already found is some software to convert this stuff to .cap-files of other vendors, but I need ASCII-format to generate Excel-sheets.

Can anyone help? Thank you very much in advance!

Either use the Print to File option within the Sniffer or use tethereal (nicer from the command prompt).

There is a program called ProConvert which will allow you to convert .cap to any number of different vendors (including Snoop) as well as ASCII. I think you could go to Axial (

http://www.axial.co.uk)

to get an evaluation copy.
