I am looking at a HUGH project where we need to convert approximately crystal reports from a Mas90 database to Macola.

I happen to have both at home so I wrote a quick report from Mas90 showing the Item Number, Description and Unit of measure. I then tried to convert this report to the Macola database, with no luck. I set the location, converted database drivers, verified the database, set an alias so that the table name was the same as the Macola table name, etc. None of this worked. I kept getting "key value not found" errors.

Is there a way to do this? Any ideas? Software Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine

Try converting the database drivers FIRST. Then, if you don't get a prompt beforehand, set the location of the database and verify. I've found the convert database driver functionality to be unreliable. I suspect that the dialog says, "Backup report before peforming this operation" for this reason. I found that converting the database drivers first worked for our migration from the DAO (p2bdao.dll) driver to ADO (pdsmon.dll) driver.
