Okay, I have two vector shapes in Illustrator. I want to make this shape:

one.gif

conform to the path of this shape:
two.gif

How do I do it?
Thanks in advance!

...you could experiment with the envelope distort feature...

...have the orange shape above the letter, select both then choose object > envelope distort > make with top object...

...you could also try the other options too and manually wrap it, or make with top object as above, expand it and then manually tweak some more...

...if you want a background you will need another duplicate of your orange shape...

...to add the letter doesn;t need to be outlined for this to work it can be a font, choose object > envelope distort > edit contents to change the letter etc...

...this feature is a live function until you expand it...
