Does anyone know if there is a program to convert Meridian phones in a OPT 81 to the CS2100 format without keying in every phone?

tbphone, the options are different. you are going from a CS1000 type to CS2100 type. Your best bet is to pull you database from the 81, format it in excel, do a bunch of replacing, the load it in the CS2100. Another thing is what type of phones are you going from - to?

The phones are staying the same. The 81 is going away and the ipe's will be remotes off the cs2100.
Does anyone have a script for the 2100?

Ahhh, huge difference then, you are doing an IPE shelf, then they aren't programmed with the SL100 options but instead with the M1 options.

Umm, a script is simple to write, program one phone and you will know how. Just make sure to suppress confirmation. Then you are just looking at something simple:

Things to know:

Servord (command to get to programming level)

New (Command to program a new phone)

$ (Dollar sign means nothing or you are doing adding options.

Do one phone and then you can string all the rest. CS2100 is really easy.

2100 still very different, here is a qlen for my desk set on an IPE in a 2100:

I can help with most 2100 option questions. It is the switch I started on and sadly I never see too many questions here about it. So, if you want to know what anything does just ask away. Or while programming a phone if you run into an option that doesn't make sense just ask.

Buddy, yeah, sadly I love the servord/mapci commands. All this crap about doing different things in different loads is harder for me to grasp. I would take a good traver any day of the week.
