converting lotus 123 macros to excel 2000

I am trying to convert a lotus 123 workbook or spreadsheet into an Excel Workbook and I had 14 cells that could not be read. I figured out the formulas for these cells in Lotus 123 but I do not know how to convert them so that Excel can read them. The other problem is I do not know how to convert the Macros that were in Lotus 123 to work in Excel 2000. I know nothing about Lotus and I know nothing about macros in Excel either or the how the formulas in Lotus differ from the formulas in Lotus. Will someone please help me I do not know what to do. I've been searching the Internet for almost a week now and all I have found were some converters that I downloaded that ended up giving me nothing more than I already had. I tried the Microsoft Office Converter, I tried the Wk4 converter, I've tried everything I just really need someone that is good with Macros and conversion of Lotus to Excel. Anything information or guidance will help me.
