Help. Help. SOS. I cannot figure out how to run a date query for a table with dates stored as DD/MM/YY. The data is from an overseas company and I am trying to link directly to the data. When a user enters 3/1/02 as a beginning date and 5/31/02 as an ending date I need the query to extract records for the March 1, 2002 through May 31, 2002 period. However, I get incomplete results because the underlying data is in DD/MM/YY format.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume this is an Access database. If you have a datetime field the data is not stored in any predefined format. If you have a text field that is a different story. How is the date stored????

One caveat on dates is that the query criteria must be entered as mm/dd/yy are you doing this? There are many valid ways to format the date on input and output. You can format the date as dd/mm/yy on input and mm/dd/yy on output as long as both are valid formats. Access does not care since it stores the date as a decimal number.
