I have a html document that can be converted to PDF. However, if I have internal links (#link) that work in HTML, they don't work in my PDF document. Is there a workaround?

Thanx,
Maarten

How are you performing the conversion? What software (including version numbers) are you using?

The plug-in in IE to convert to PDF, that came with the installation of Acrobat 6.0

Ok, I've tested this. You are right, Acrobat does a pretty good job with external links, and a so-so job with internal links.

Acrobat tries to convert internal links (hrefs that point to an anchor tag) into a links to an Acrobat "Named Destination".

The problem is that the named destination has to be created by Acrobat, and the position is a little off in some cases. Clicking the link may do no better than taking you to the Page that contains the anchor.

At this point I can't suggest a slick fix. You'll have to re-create your Named Destinations and then edit the hyperlinks to point to the ones you create vs. the ones Acrobat created automatically.

I'll poke around a little more.
