Converting from FirstClass to Exch2007

Howdy all. I'm very much an Exch2007 newbie who is in the process of converting from FirstClass.

One thing we've done within FC is developed custom forms for various requests, i.e. transportation, events, maintenance, etc. The forms include respective fields that are pulldown menus, user entry, etc. The input is then sent to the respective form owner. Basically much like a typical web form.

That being said, I'm curious to find out if this is possible within Exch2007?

The question I have for you is who told you to come to Exchange? From what (little) you've said I would suggest that staying where you were or alternatively moving to Lotus Notes or Exchange and SharePoint would be your better bets.
Exchange 2007 on its own is not what you're looking for.

I'll concur as to what Mark said. You'll need something else to handle the forms like SharePoint and InfoPath.

Unless you want to build these custom forms in Public Folders, like many have done. That's another option, although it doesn't tie easily into other databases.

Just keep in mind that this is the last version of Exchange to support Public Folders. Migrate to SharePoint now or later.
