Is there anyway I can open an Access 2003 file on a machine with only Access 2000?

At the very least, just to dump the VBA code out of it?

Do you mean you don't have access to a pc running Access 2003? If you do you could convert the database on 2003 pc back to Acc2000. On toolbar go to Tools --> Database Utilities --> Convert Database --> To Access 2000 Format. Then you could run database on Access 2000.

Access 2000 will not open a 2003 format version as far as I know.

Okay, I asked the person to do that. What (if anything) is lost in the conversion?

Any features created that are specific to Access 2003 will be lost. These will be listed on the Access pages on the M$ site, so I won't list them again here.

To be honest there is so little difference between 2000 and 2003 the chances are you won't lose anything at all.
