How do I convert reports (*.frx) backwards from Foxpro 6.0 to Foxpro 3.0 because a full database in 3.0 will not recognize the 6.0 frx report format and therefore gives an error when trying to print.

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,
I don't believe I've seen anyone write any utilities to do this. You might have to recreate one of the reports manually in VFP 3.0, and compare the details. Then since these are just .DBF (& .FPT) files, you might be able to write your own report "downgrader".

Out of curiousity, did they start as 3.0 reports and get upgraded to VFP 5/6? Do you have any backups?

hmmmmm... SuperDave huh, I used to know a guy named SuperDave (really good VFP programmer, but he sucked at graphics though) really good at kung fu (ok marginly good, he got beat a couple of times by a 8 year old....GIRL hahah I still laugh at that)

but here's the thing, I called him SuperFly more than SuperDave, Kung Fu dave........ is that you buddy?

If not, sorry for my rambling...
