Converting Folders to Webs

I'm having trouble converting my folders to webs. I'm getting the following error attempting to convert: Server error creating web "/usr/local/frontpage/version4.0/_vti_bin/_vti_adm/admin.exe/" is not a file. Please check front page root settings.


Any suggestions. Thanks

Sounds like the server install got whacked out some how. I recommend reinstalling FrontPage ove the top of the existing install.

After that, delete some of the FrontPage specific directories out of the directory you want to convert to FrontPage web (if the original attemt was successful at adding them). Then reopen the directory as a web to get FrontPage to start over.

Often times other software installs will affect installations of programs already on your system. Reinstalling usually takes care of it.
