Hi,

I am very new in Adobe Illustrator or Quark!

I am wondering if anyone can tell me how I can convert an Illustrator file into HTML format for web display and in which I can place interactive HTML buttons in the page???

Do I need 3rd party software to convert them to HTML pages?

You can use the slice tool to break up your image into manageable web elements. You might want to switch to Pixel Preview mode (View > Pixel Preview) to get an idea of how the artwork will look when rasterised.

When you're ready to export, go to File > Save for Web. Select each slice, and set whatever format/image settings you need. When you click Save, you have the option to save the HTML, the images, or both.
