Converting Docs

I have several users who have old 95 word docs which need to be converted to Word 2000. Is there another way to convert these without openeing each one up and saving them as a 2000 doc? I would like to do them enmasse, which I have never heard of. The problem lies in they are afraid at some point in time they will become so outdated the current word program at the time will not open them.

I think I have read something similiar to this in PCMag. You may want to do a search there. I think there was a simple macro that could be run.
