I have column a with the dates in this format:
19/06/03(ddmmyy)I would like to convert them to:
06/19/2003 in column b. Could someone post a formula or routine that would parse col a?

In Excel

Highlight the column, the from the menu choose Format>Cells> then from the number tab choose custom...then in the "type:" field type mm/dd/yyyy

choose ok

Hi,

Simple, assuming that you're in Excel

1. select the date column
2. menu item Format/Cells - Number tab
3. select Custom Category
4. in the Type textbox enter
Code:
mm/dd/yyyy
