Converting connection protocol to named pipes? 1

I am running Arcserv 11.1 and even when my backup job is successful, I am getting a notice in the job log "Converting connection protocol to named pipes due to connection error." This only seems to happen at the point where the job is backing up Microsoft Exchange files/data. I believe it is backing up all of my needed Exchange files.

What is this telling me? Is it something I need to address and how would I attempt to fix it?

Hi,
By default, your exchange agent uses the TCP/IP as your tranfer protocol but the Brightstor server cannot connect to exchange agent through TCP/IP protocol so that it tries connect through Remote pipes protocol and it succeeds. You can change the remote protocol directly in the job - modify job, Microsoft Exchange server .. - Right mouse button - Remote protocol.
