Converting Business View to non Business View connection

I currently have a crystal report that is connected via Business View and would like to connect this report through an ODBC connection. I am getting an error that says: Converting from Business View connection to a non Business View connection is not supported."

Is this impossible to do? If so, why? If it's not impossible, then can someone please tell me how I can do this?

Try this:

1. Get the SQL for the Business View from the Business View Manager.
2. In your report, go to Set Location.
3. Open the ODBC connection.
4. If there is an "Add Command" option, click on it and paste the SQL you copied in step 1.
5. Click on the Update button.

If this does not work, you'll have to recreate the report using the connection instead of the business view.
