I have a web page that dynamically generates a jpg graph and inserts it into a nested html table with a coloured key. I need to know how to take this whole table and copy it as a picture file for use in other applications such as Powerpoint. The user needs to have ability to do this from the web page rather than having to install any screen capture software and the existing screen capture is inadequate because of page scrolling.

Sounds like a job for SVG and XSL-FO to me. How does your application currently convert data into a JPG? Extending that to provide two versions may be a slightly more palatable solution.
