Sep 15, 2004 #2 tdatgod Programmer Jul 21, 2001 601 US Easier? you mean there is a way to do it at all? The easiest way is to take it back to WINDOWS load it into EXCEL and have it save it as a Comma Separated Variables (.csv) file which will be in ASCII. I found a WEB site that does the conversion for you. http://www.iconv.com/xls2csv.htm I guess this assumes you can run a WEB browser on your UNIX box. Upvote 0 Downvote
