Can You convert a access program to one that will stand alone with its own excutive file. So Clients dont have to have access in order to use them

There is a tool in the Access Developers edition which creates a setup program that distributes your database and required runtimes as a package that installs onto the client machine. If you are using Office 95 or 97 then there is a Microsoft Office Developers Tools CD that has it on.

If I have office 98 or office 2000 can I find the Developers tool. I have a lap top so my info is in cab files. If not please tell me where I can get this info.

Thank you.

Office 2000 comes in several "Suites"
Standard, Pro, Premium, and last is Developer.
Its very pricey, close to $1000 US
It has everything you could ever dream of and has the developer stuff in it too.
You can also buy it separate for ~$300 US

Here is a link that should tell all...
