When Converting from 2000 to 97 the switchbord will not work ( Compile error: Method or data member not found ) and this code is highlighted (Set con = Application.CurrentProject.Connection ), I read that you could change CurrentProject to CurrentDB but tried that and it still does the same thing, someone please help

Converting the switchboard code back to Access 97 would be a tedious job. The code you gave indicates that the Access 2000 database was using ADO, which is not available in Access 97. It would be possible to convert the code to DAO in Access 97, but it would be tedious.

A much simpler solution would be to run the Access 97 Switchboard Manager add-in to rebuild your switchboard form. Chances are fairly good that you won't even have to re-enter the switchboard entries. It depends on whether the switchboard tables in the two versions are compatible--something I've never investigated, but I suspect they are. Rick Sprague

Thanks for your help, it worked!!!
