I'm using Acrobat 7 Standard version to try and convert a MS Word document to PDF. I've tried converting the document to PDF within MS Word and from within Adobe Acrobat. I always receive the following error message:

[Warning] The font WP-IconicSymbolsA could not be embedded because of licensing restrictions.
Text may display incorrectly on platforms that do not have this font installed.

I've converted several documents in the past and have never encountered an error like this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

...ecm

You say you have converted documents in the past. -Has anything changed? For instance did you install some new font? Do you use the font WP-IconicSymbolsA in your word document? If not remove it.

Word/ acrobat will embed fonts even if you cant see them in the original word document. i.e.- if a font is anywhere in the format of the word doc, it still gets embedded to the PDF.

You could also config the PDF not to embed fonts, but if you are using that font, anyone without it on their machine, would not view the doc as you intended.
